Chilled chicken for only $HK 33.90 at the local Wellcome grocery!  What a great deal!  Who could resist?  And it even comes with the head & a sleepy facial expression!  GREAT.

The fresh meat section of my local Trust Mart leaves me similarly … “cold”, let’s say.  I’m not used to seeing my fresh meat wearing the facial expression it was wearing at the moment of death, and I definitely don’t see why people would salivate over pans full of chicken fingers – the actual claws, not chicken strips – next to fried duck heads tossed haphazardly in a pile, their skin burnt brown & flaking, their tongues practically hanging out.  Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
